In the last two months, significant recovery was noted at the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BSE), FIMA Funds Portfolio Manager Vladimir Pavlovic says. Pavlovic told journalists that this is encouraging since index movements on the stock exchange and share price actually indicate the movements in the real sector, and added that the dynamic of the recovery is worrying because it is faster than expected. BSE sees "significant recovery" According to him, it is common knowledge that the capital market plummeted in the last months, therefore it is possible that the rise of the share prices was actually a return to the normal state, which is establishing a real ratio between share prices and drop in the GDP in Serbia. Pavlovic pointed out that in terms of the crisis in the real sector it will be “rough” and that better positioning and companies' recuperation can be expected in 2010.
