Home currency continues to strengthen

The value of the Serbian dinar (RSD) has increased by 0.39 percent against the euro, making one euro worth RSD 81.9966 today, according to the central bank (NBS). The NBS stated that the euro was worth RSD 82.3230 on Friday. Home currency continues to strengthen The exchange rate was in between RSD 82.3 and 83.87 last week, while it varied from RSD 80.66 on May 5, to RSD 83.87 dinars on May 8-9, the last working days before the elections. Commenting on the strengthening of the dinar at the end of last week, Serbian Chamber of Commerce expert advisor Goran Nikolic said that "according to the movement of the dinar's value on the inter-bank foreign currency markets, it can be seen that bankers are convinced that a pro-European government will be formed in Serbia.”

Home currency continues to strengthen

The exchange rate was in between RSD 82.3 and 83.87 last week, while it varied from RSD 80.66 on May 5, to RSD 83.87 dinars on May 8-9, the last working days before the elections.
