Home currency continues slide
The dinar’s value fell 0.7 percent against the euro, continuing its recent slide, according to the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).

The dinar’s value fell 0.7 percent against the euro, continuing its recent slide, according to the National Bank of Serbia (NBS). According to the NBS, one euro is worth 83.5138 dinars today. Since the beginning of the week, the dinar’s value has slumped by 3.5 percent. The euro reached its peak on February 28, when it was worth RSD 83.8286 and its lowest point on January 1, when one euro was worth RSD 79.2362. The NBS stated that it was normal for the value to fluctuate before important political decisions, such as Sunday’s parliamentary elections. The foreign currency markets react based on the expectations of its actors, with fluctuation of the rate in both directions.
