Heavily inebriated Slovak bus driver detained in Croatia
According to the European Transport Safety Council, Croatia's blood alcohol content (BAC) limit is 0.5 - and zero for commercial drivers.The police in Dubrovnik said they never before encountered a professional driver so heavily under the influence of alcohol while behind the wheel.
The man was detained and taken before a court for minor offenses in Dubrovnik, where he received a 2-year-ban on driving, and was ordered to spend 49 days in prison.
