An intensive police search is still ongoing for the third attacker on the police patrol, he said.
A group of ethnic Albanians attacked a police patrol in the Bosnjačka Mahala estate at around 17:00 CET yesterday. The three policemen sustained minor injuries in the course of the attack. The police patrol was of mixed composition—one ethnic Albanian, one Serb and one Bosniak police officer.
All was quiet last night in Kosovska Mitrovica. An increased presence of KPS officers was observed in Bosnjačka Mahala.
The estate is an ethnically mixed part of town in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. Besides Serbs, its population also includes Kosovo Albanians, Bosniaks and a number of Gorany.
