The court confirmed sentences of 40 years for Milorad Ulemek and Zvezdan Jovanović, and 35 years for Aleksandar Simović, Ninoslav Konstantivnović and Vladimir Milisavljević.
The Supreme Court lowered sentences for Sretko Kalinić from 35 to 30 years, and 30 to 20 years for Dušan Krsmanović, while Željko Tojaga had his sentence decreased from 30 to 15 years.
Supreme Court spokeswoman Vesna Dabić said that the verdict for that case is explained in 107 pages, and it will be given to the Belgrade District Court today, adding that it will then be forwarded to the prosecution, those convicted of the crime and their attorneys.
Dabić said that Ulemek and Jovanović, who received maximum sentences, have the right to third degree appeal procedures.
The spokeswoman also stated that they have a deadline of 15 days to file fresh appeals, after which the Supreme Court will be meeting to deliberate the case.
