Police said the two men died of gunshot wounds on February 7 after suspected militants in a car shot them at point blank range. The latest attack took place outside a market near the town of Karabulak in Ingushetia around noon, the police said, adding that no further details were immediately available.

The attack comes amid a spike in violence across the North Caucasus over the past several days.
