Tadić: Kosovo security forces unacceptable

President Boris Tadic says Serbia finds the formation of the Kosovo security forces to be unacceptable. Tadic was speaking for B92 TV this evening in Belgrade when he said that the demilitarization of the southern province is the only way to secure safety for the people who live there. Serbia must not desist from the policy of defending the territorial integrity and of continued integrations processes, and must do all to achieve both goals, he said. Serbia has not strayed "one millimeter" from the European road, the president stated, but added that "Kosovo is priceless". Tadic conceded that the country's EU ambition could be conditioned with recognizing Kosovo's independence declaration, adding that "this has never been a topic of discussion so far". As Serbia's president, he continued, "I would never accept something of the kind, but will do all to discourage anyone who might wish to make such conditions".
