Mr. Tadic, I completely agree with you, but when writing letters of protest to UN fails, what's plan B?

Do you even have one? We all know that your protests have not stopped the west up to now. Save your breath and do something instead of just mouthing off.

Come on Mr. President!

That's a multhiethnic mini-army of Kosovo. It's an additional factor for the peace and stability in Kosovo and in the region.

Especially it contributes to the reconciliation among Albanians and Serbs.

Listen Mr. President, don't try too fool us. The Democratic world will not allow its project to fail. Ahtisari is one of them, including its package.

Let's see this force an institution and a place where Serbs and Albanians enjoy diversity, multiculturalism and share the same efforts for a better Kosovo!

Michael John (#9),
SO, I see Hillary is president? No wait, she lost to Obama. I forgot. She cannot do anything without Obama's approval. Who cares what she thinks about anything. We'll see, I guess, but I wouldn't count on NATO coming down on Serbia again. This is not the same Serbia as the Milosevic Serbia.Serbia now cooperates with NATO and the EU is bending over backwards to bring Serbia in. Moreover, and this is most important of all, our economy now stinks. If you live in the US you know how bad things are here. DO you honestly believe that the US will be fighting anyone soon? If you do, you are living in a dream world where reality is a unicorn. Finally, Hillary will have far more important stuff to deal with before she goes to Kosovo, like Israel. The 90s are over; they are over. This is a new world. Things are changing. In fact the ICJ may even declare Kosovo's self-proclaimed independence is illegal. What will you do then when your whole world view collapses before you?

Demilitarization of Kosova will bring peace to Kosova says Tadic.

Lets look at it for a second. There was no Albanian military force in Kosova and we have been abused over and over by the Serbian state, culminating with the war. So what we learned is that if we have no army we can abused. Then NATO came in and Serbian abuse stopped. So what we learned is that an army is a deterrent to Serbian abuse. So we look ahead in the future when NATO decides that the situation is calm enough. To keep Serbia from attacking again we have to start building an army now, be trained by NATO and buy equipment from NATO, so that when the future Milosevic's ,Kostunica's, Tadic's, Jeremic's, Mladic's, Sesejl's Karadjic's come to power in Serbia, rest assure they will come they are in a position where they have to think twice. We will not allow ourselves to be sitting ducks anymore. The Kosova army will be there exactly because NATO will leave one day and that is why there should be an army and no demilitarization. The only way we will agree to a demilitarization is only when Serbia itself becomes a demilitarized zone.

Daniel,

In response to your post #4:

The Kumanovo Agreement has been violated by Serbia repeatedly by having undercover MUP operatives in Kosova. As was agreed, any violation of K.A. can result in the NATO commander using military means, including the use of force to make Serbia stand down or facing renewed bombing. Until now, NATO has not acted on its prerogative. However, tomorrow Hillary Clinton, a well known Serb hater, becomes US Secretary of State. One of her first objectives is to goad NATO into action against Serbia, just as Tony Blair, George Robertson, Jaimie Shea and others did in 1999. (Hillary makes Maddie Albright look like a Girl Scout.) Since this is not the first time Serbia has acted recklessly by flagrantly violating the Kumanovo Agreement, enough evidence is available to convince even the most weak- kneed skeptic to support military action against Serbia.

Now, who is in violation of UN Res. 1244? Remember, the K.A. is an integral part of Res.#1244.

To all Albanians: it is so easy to have a big mouth like you have when NATO is backing you.

If NATO retreats today you will be nowhere.
And you know that.

Hope for a peaceful resolution. Both sides must give up things. Yes, this includes the Albanian side.

And again: why NATO bombs on Serbia but not on China? Are we the West, only taking on weak countries?

Why isn't Mr. Bush bombing China because of Tibet?

Is an Albanian worth more than a Tibetan?

Well, I kind of understand Tadic's position. He has to say something for internal consumption...otherwise he risks having a nationalist mob lynch him!

The fact of the matter is, no one is going to listen to his lonely voice! NATO and the supporters of Kosova's independence have already developed the plans to help Kosova form all the institutions of a sovreign state, including a functional army!

It's easy for Dardania and Pejonia to say what you like when you believe the US has your back. However, it's not as easy as you think. Do you really believe that the US will fight your war for you again? Then 1990s are over. Serbia can say what it does and in reality, there's nothing you can do about it. By the way, when are your so called security forces going to go into the North??? Still waiting. The truth is that you cannot just believe you can do what you please with Kosovo. The world has NOT accepted Kosovo at the rate you believed it would. It's been nearly a year now and only less than one third, nearly only one fourth of the countries accepted your so called independent nation. If it weren't for the lobbying efforts of your supporters or the power play of your US allies that you wouldn't even have one country supporting you. Go ahead and act big, but that's not the way the world works. Serbia has been much more calm and has done a far better job following the straight and logical path since the declaration than Kosovo's Albanians have. There's nothing you can do to convince anyone one about it. In the end, the two parties will have to get together and compromise. There's no other solution. Boy, that will hurt some people, but that's the only way to go.

>>"he said that the demilitarization of the southern province is the only way to secure safety for the people who live there."

Yeah, it worked great in 1998-1999. Never again. Arms and an army will secure the safety, or at least have a better chance at that than being sitting ducks. When your enemy gives you safety advice, do the opposite.

Mr. Tadic, I completely agree with you, but when writing letters of protest to UN fails, what's plan B?

Do you even have one? We all know that your protests have not stopped the west up to now. Save your breath and do something instead of just mouthing off.

Maybe a Russian Army Base in the Presevo Valley is a good idea. especially with Poland (Amercias Puppet) givin them bases for spy camp.... it's not a bad idea for the Serbs to give the Russians a base in return for arms.

Guys, guys, guys...I don't know where to start...

...Anyway...the story goes like this: Poor Serbians...poor Albanians...war...war...war...poorer Serbians...poorer Albanians...talk...talk...talk...poorer Serbians...poorer Albanians...argue...argue..argue...

Don't you think it's time that all of us say no to these Loser-thieves-turned-politicians who have put us against each other for centuries? What is Tadic or even an ordinary Serbian gonna do in or with Kosovo, heh? Take it, wrape it up, and put it under the pillow? What are Albanians on the other side gonna do with it? The same? Common!!! Stop the idiocy and START WORKING!!!
