Five Serb parties to stand at elections

Five Kosovo Serb parties and one Kosovo Montenegrin party will be standing in the local elections in Kosovo in November. According to a Central Electoral Commission (CIK) spokesman, these parties registered their candidacies on Tuesday. Five Serb parties to stand at elections The parties in question are the Alliance of Independence Social Democrats of Kosovo, the New Democracy Party, the Party for Democratic Change, the Serb National Party and the Party of Kosovo Serbs, along with the Democratic Party of Montenegrins. CIK officials stated that all these parties were registered political parties and were automatically entitled to participate in the elections. So far, 36 political parties from all communities have registered, including the Vakat Coalition made up of three Bosniak parties. The local elections in Kosovo will be held on November 15.
