A meeting in the town of Prizren that was scheduled for Jan. 8 and was to bring together presidents from four regional countries has been postponed. Kosovo Albanian President Fatmir Sejdiu had invited presidents from Croatia, Albania, Macedonia, and Montenegro. Meeting in Prizren postponed But yesterday, his cabinet announced that he spoke on the phone with Bamir Topi, Gjorge Ivanov and Filip Vujanovic about "the aspects of deepening of the cooperation of Kosovo with Tirana, Skopje and Podgorica". "All interlocutors agreed to harmonize a joint meeting, that will be held in the first months of next year in Kosovo, while everyone will be informed about the exact date on time," said Sejdiu's statement. This announcement came after local media in Pristina on Tuesday said Ivanov refused to participate in the meeting, because he reportedly did not receive an invitation. "The president did not receive an invitation, but even if he did, he would not participate, because his agenda is too busy," Ivanov's cabinet told Albanian language daily Koha Ditore. Outgoing Croatian President Stjepan Mesic was also supposed to travel to Prizren. He was not among those who had telephone conversations with Sejdiu on Tuesday.
