BELGRADE The Serbian parliament will probably vote on the 2013 budget proposal on December 1, ruling SNS party parliament group leader Veroljub Arsic has stated. The draft sent to MPs by the government envisages a deficit of RSD 121.9 billion. Parliament likely to vote on budget on December 1 According to the document, the economic and fiscal policies in 2013 will be focused on macroeconomic stability, faster economic growth, slower drop in employment, cutting down the fiscal deficit, slowing the increase of the public debt and structural reform. Arsic told Tanjug that MPs will begin on Thursday their debate on the amendments to the proposed budget, followed by questions to government officials. "Then we will continue the debate on Friday and the parliament will probably vote on the budget bill on Saturday, so we can expect the budget to be adopted by December 1, and it will be the first budget adopted on time and in accordance with the budget system law," he stressed.
