PM: We will face greater crisis than expected

Vucic said he believed a comprehensive plan that was requested by Austrian FM Sebastian Kurz and German Chancellor Angela Merkel during the summit on the Western Balkans in Vienna will be adopted and that everyone in the EU will accept it and adhere to it.

"That is the only solution, because there will be no betterment for us from individual solutions," he said.

The prime minister stated he was "appalled by the fact some people in our country are saying the EU is the problem and not the refugees, and are asking that these migrants be thrown our of the country."

"I am appalled by the fact such people are involved in public affairs in our country at all. Luckily, they represent a small percentage," he said.

Vucic stressed that "Serbia will treat migrants as people in distressed, regardless of the financial difficulties we will face."
