Iranian media reports said two separate but identical bomb attacks killed a prominent Iranian nuclear scientist and injured another in Tehran, RFE/RL reports. State media said attackers riding on motorcycles attached bombs to the cars of the scientists as they were driving to work today. Iranian scientist killed in bomb attack One bomb killed Majid Shahriari, described as a member of the nuclear engineering department at Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University, and injured his wife. The second blast seriously wounded Fereydoon Abbasi, a nuclear physicist, and his wife. Iran's Fars and ISNA news agencies accused "agents" of the United States and Israel of being behind the attacks.

One bomb killed Majid Shahriari, described as a member of the nuclear engineering department at Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University, and injured his wife.

The second blast seriously wounded Fereydoon Abbasi, a nuclear physicist, and his wife.

Iran's Fars and ISNA news agencies accused "agents" of the United States and Israel of being behind the attacks.
