Railway traffic between southern Serbian towns of Leskovac and Vranje was halted on Friday after a passenger train hit a truck.

Railway traffic between southern Serbian towns of Leskovac and Vranje was halted on Friday after a passenger train hit a truck. The accident happened near Grdelica, and left the 34-year-old driver of the truck severely injured. Traffic disrupted in south after train hits truck Doctors in Leskovac are currently trying to save his life, reporters were told. Serbian Railways authorities meanwhile announced that traffic between Leskovac and Vranje would resume during the day. According to reports, the train collided with the truck on an unmarked railway crossing.
