Oleg Novkovic's "White, White World" is the winner of the Cottbus Festival of Eastern European Film, the festival organizer stated on Sunday. Director Novkovic and producer Uliks Fehmiu won the award for a daring depiction of the everyday anguish experienced by the character of an outsider, the festival stated in Cottbus on Sunday. Serbian film wins at German festival The Serbian film won the LUBINA Prize for Best Film and prize money of EUR 20,000. The festival was founded in 1991, at the initiative by the film club movement of the former German Democratic Republic. This year, 140 motion pictures from 40 countries were included in the festival program.
