All of Serbia’s main highways and roads have been cleared, but traffic is still moving slower than usually because of the remaining snow. The Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia (AMSS) is warning that some roads located in lower elevations still have up to three centimeters of snow on them. Roads clear, traffic still running slowly There is still in between 10 and 30 cm of snow on some of the less-used mountain roads. Heavy fog is causing problems in Valjevo, Loznica, Velika Plana, Cuprija, Kraljevo, Pozega and Raska as well. Parts of the Ibraska highway were closed last ight, with several kilometer-long columns of trucks and cars waiting to pass. The closing was caused by a bus carrying children that could not pass because of the snow on the road, according to police. AMSS is continuing to advice drivers to commute slowly and to only drive if absolutely necessary.
