The Hunger Strike Against Hunger campaign is receiving support from 56 countries worldwide, reports are saying. The campaign calls on its participants to "refrain from food" on October 16, World Food Day, in a show of solidarity with those suffering from hunger. Anti-hunger campaign gains support On that day, people in Russia, Ukraine, UK, U.S., Germany, Canada, China, Mexico, Bosnia, Montenegro, Croatia, Lithuania, Chile, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Egypt, Botswana, Tajikistan and other countries will join "hunger strikers" in Serbia. B92 has supported both this and another program, dubbed Food for Everyone, aimed at combating hunger.
