Serbian health services have identified 14 new cases of swine flu in people who attended the EXIT music festival in Novi Sad. This brings the total number of swine flu cases in Serbia up to 68. 14 more swine flu cases after EXIT festival Health Minister Tomica Milosavljevic said that the new cases were currently at the Vojvodina clinical center, and that their general health was “relatively good.” He added that the epidemiological situation was under control. “The epidemiological observation of this mass event was very extensive, and we expected to have cases come up once the festival ended. After the World Student Games and EXIT, we have a situation in August where there will be one more mass event, Guca,” Milosavljevic said. “The health services of Serbia are ready for these challenges, and the situation is under control. We must track the situation, summer is not a season for intense spreading of viruses in Europe, but when you have mass events, the epidemiological risks increase,” he cautioned.
