Passengers will receive information on proper behavior when purchasing tickets and during the pre-flight procedure.

"Passengers can take aboard even less items, not because we insist that they carry less, but because security demands that the luggage be strictly controlled, especially luggage that can cause problems during flights, such as sharp objects, knives, weapons and explosive materials," Ćakić said.

"The European Union and Jat implemented a plan last year for not allowing materials in liquid form to be carried on to the flight. The liquid products can be packed in the carry-on luggage if they can fit into a 20 by 20 centimeter plastic bag," Ćakić said, adding that none of the products can exceed 100 mililiters.
