Police in the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica have arrested ten persons suspected of involvement in a series of incidents targeting the daily Vijesti.

Police in the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica have arrested ten persons suspected of involvement in a series of incidents targeting the daily Vijesti. Vijesti TV reported, citing "top Montenegrin police officials", that the suspects were also detained in connection to other crime cases, and that "criminal processing will show if there was enough evidence to charge them". 10 detained for setting newspaper cars on fire Vehicles belonging to the newspaper were targeted on three separate occasions last summer. The cars were doused in gasoline and set on fire. At the time of the attacks, the vehicles were parked close to the media outlet's headquarters, in front of an employees home, and in an elementary school parking lot. Vehicles belonging to the newspaper were targeted on three separate occasions last summer. The cars were doused in gasoline and set on fire.
