As of Wednesday, the residents of Bosnia-Herzegovina who possess biometric passports will be able to travel visa-free to the EU member states. This also applies to trips to Switzerland, Iceland, and Norway. Visa-free travel for Bosnia, Albania The European Council approved on November 8 the decision on visa abolition for citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania. Granting of the visa-free travel has been estimated as vital for all citizens of Bosnia and deemed as a proof that the country is making progress on its European path. To mark the occasion, Sarajevo organized promotional trips for businessmen, students and journalists. On Wednesday morning, an airplane took off from the Sarajevo airport carrying businessmen and representatives of state and civil sectors to Amsterdam, while the flight to Brussels was organized from Banja Luka's airport.
