Spokesman for former Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany, David Daroczi, committed suicide in Budapest on Friday night, laccording to local reports. Police did not want to say that a suicide was in question out of respect to the family of the victim, but stated that early investigations have ruled out homicide and that no motives for the killing were uncovered. Former Hungarian govt. spokesperson commits suicide Daroczi, an ethnic Roma, worked as a journalist before becoming a government spokesman in 2007, and worked with a communications advisory firm at the time of his death. His father was renowned Gypsy poet, writer, and translator Jozsef Choli Daroczi. Daroczi would have been 38 years old on April 19.
