Slander charges filed by Foca Municipal President Zdravko Krsmanovic against Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik have been dropped. Dodik’s attorney Goran Bubic told the Tanjug news agency that the court is obligated to pay Krsmanovic expenses for the process. Dodik freed of slander charges The verdict states that in the election campaign rally in Foca where Dodik allegedly said very offensive things about Krsmanovic, Dodik “did not mention his personal life, nor did he mention his family with any of his statements.” “As a public figure, Krsmanovic is obligated to take criticism which is more severe than usual, because he himself criticizes and attacks those that do not agree with him every day,” the court added.
