"Time to apply agreement with Serbia"

It is time to apply the Interim Trade Agreement of the EU with Serbia, Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Michael Spindelegger said. After Slovenia and Croatia reached a deal about a border dispute, Spindelegger said that this positive period should be used to finally make some progress regarding Serbia. "Time to apply agreement with Serbia" It is time to finally apply the Interim EU Agreement with Serbia, Spindelegger underscored in his statement. Looking over the Agreement between Slovenia and Croatia, Spindelegger appraised that it was a good sign for Europe that both partners have finally found a way out of a dead-end by their own efforts. The goal remains unchanged - Croatia should become 28th member of EU, Spindelegger pointed out. In his statement, he recalled the role of Croatia as a vanguard for all the other countries in Western Balkans. "Croatia is a locomotive of the whole region. The agreement with Slovenia is a signal of encouragement for partners in Western Balkans not to give up on the European perspective for each particular country of the region," Spindelegger stated.
