The Karadžić family has been asked for their travel ban to be lifted to allow them to travel to Belgrade to visit Karadžić in prison before he is extradited to the Hague Tribunal.

Lajčak authorized the confiscation of passports and travel documents belonging to Karadžić’s wife Ljiljana Zelen Karadžić and children on January 10, on suspicion that the Karadžić family was helping him hide from authorities.
