Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic received on Wednesday Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Manzo, the government announced.

Italian president invites Vucic to visit
The diplomat "conveyed the invitation to Vucic from the Italian president to visit Italy, which the prime minister accepted, expressing gratitude to the Italian leadership for engagement in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and the strong support Serbia in implementation of reforms, European integration and regional cooperation."Vucic stressed the importance of the forthcoming summit in Trieste, in the framework of the Berlin Process for cooperation in the region, expressing hope that concrete agreements will be achieved for future infrastructure connections and every kind of economic cooperation which would be to the benefit of residents of the western Balkans.
The two officials "also spoke about new Italian investments in Serbia, assessing that the good results of the economic policy of the Serbian government encouraged the interest of foreign investors."
The ambassador "presented Vucic with an initiative to promote the cultural heritage of Serbia as a possible source of economic growth."
Vucic and Manzo "confirmed readiness to organize the 4th Summit of Serbia-Italy and concluded that the fourth joint meeting of the two governments, hosted by Serbia, gave impetus to the strengthening of political dialogue and economic cooperation."
