UNESCO Executive Board's decision to recommend to the General Conference to admit Kosovo into this organization was one made by "big and powerful countries."

"Big, powerful countries trample on law and justice"

"Through such a decision, international law and justice have been trampled on," Djuric told Tanjug, adding that Serbia will not scale down its diplomatic efforts to prevent Kosovo's admission to the UNESCO.

He stressed that "no vote can alter history, erase the memory of the Serb people, or change its identity."

“It will not make our imperial lavras, our monasteries and other holy sites in Kosovo and Metohija any less ours. And our people, together with the monks and priests of the Serbian Orthodox Church, will continue to safeguard our sanctities, just as they have done over all these centuries,” said Djuric.
