PM has another meeting with NGOs

Vucic conferred with members of the European Movement in Serbia, Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies in Belgrade, Centre for Research, Transparency and Accountability, Belgrade Open School and Belgrade Centre for Security Policy. The next meeting was scheduled for late June at Vucic's initiative.

According to a release issued by the Serbian government, the topics of the meeting covered European integration and participation of the civil society in the process, as well as the situation in the region and Serbia's geopolitical position. Vucic underscored that the government is ready for open talks, suggestions and criticism of representatives of the civil society, states the release.

President of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence Sonja Liht welcomed the government initiative for cooperation with the civil society and underscored the importance of continuous cooperation. In keeping with this point, Liht suggested that public debates should be staged for all socially relevant topics.

Last week, Vucic also met with a group of representatives of NGOs.
