BELGRADE Serbian PM Ivica Dacic and British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Thursday welcomed Serbia's efforts to peacefully resolve problems in the region. During his talks with Hague, Dacic stressed that Serbia was committed to contributing to stability and security in the Balkans and to facilitating the process of reconciliation and restoration of confidence in the region. “Problems should be solved through dialogue” The British official said that Britain welcomed the positive moves made by the Serbian government over the past three months and encouraged all efforts to solve problems peacefully and offered full support to Serbia on its European path. The two officials said that the cooperation between the two countries in the fight against organized crime, particularly in combating drug trafficking, was very good, the Serbian media relations office said in a release Thursday. They also condemned violence at sporting events, and agreed to cooperate in fighting it as Britain had a lot of experience in that field.
