Progressives “ready to cooperate with Socialists”

Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Aleksandar Vucic says his party is ready to cooperate with the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). He told Tanjug that he would inform Serbia’s President Tomislav Nikolic about this at a meeting on Monday. Progressives “ready to cooperate with Socialists” Nikolic has announced he will start talks with parliamentary parties on Monday so the new government would be formed as soon as possible. Vucic stressed that any government without the SNS in it would be illegitimate. He added that Serbia needed a government that would bring changes and fight against corruption, crime, poverty, unemployment and work on the country’s economic development. “We are ready to offer cooperation to the SPS, and certain opposition parties that we already have certain cooperation with, on the forming of the future government that will bring changes,” the SNS leader explained. Nikolić has announced he will start talks with parliamentary parties on Monday so the new government would be formed as soon as possible.

Vučić stressed that any government without the SNS in it would be illegitimate.

He added that Serbia needed a government that would bring changes and fight against corruption, crime, poverty, unemployment and work on the country’s economic development.
