Representatives of the Serbian government, unions and Association of Employers signed a social agreement on Friday. According to the agreement, minimum price of one working hour is RSD 102. Minimum wage in Serbia will therefore be RSD 17,700. The 2011 economic agreement was signed by the prime minister, Alliance of Independent Unions of Serbia (SSS) President Ljubisav Orbovic, Independence Trade Union President Branislav Canak and Employers Union of Serbia President Nebojsa Atanackovic. “I think we have made a big step toward achieving full social stability and created prerequisites so we could solve all problems in the future through dialogue and collective negotiations,” said Labor and Social Policy Minister Rasim Ljajic.
