Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica said that by agreeing to amend its Kosovo resolution Serbia has suffered disgrace and great harm. “The fact that many countries defended Serbia in the UN General Assembly is humiliating, all the more so because they had no one to defend, as Serbia had given up on defending itself,” Kostunica said. DSS: Resolution disgrace for Serbia “For the past two years and more, especially since accepting the EULEX mission, the Serbian authorities have been the hidden accomplices in the process of creating a false state of Kosovo,” he said. The authorities that placed the policy of there being no alternative to EU membership above Serbia itself have now chained the country and forced it to establish good neighborly relations with the false state of Kosovo, he added. “This has placed Serbia in a submissive position and paved the way for constant blackmail by the European Union,” Kostunica stated.
