Special EU representative in Kosovo Pieter Feith says that "good neighborly" relations between Belgrade and Pristina would be useful for the region's stability. "Good neighborly relations and contacts between Belgrade and Pristina on practical issues are useful for the stability in the region. The EU can play a useful role in facilitating such a process in a constructive way," Novi Sad daily Dnevnik quoted him as saying. Feith talks "good neighborly relations" Feith also said that Kosovo made "significant progress since February 2008". "It now has a modern legal framework. The constitution has been adopted, with a wider scope of protective measures for communities, especially Kosovo Serbs, and I am particularly pleased with the progress of the security sector reforms," said he. Feith also said "great challenges" exist in the economy, the newspaper writes.
