The UNMIK deputy chief offered his resignation after Gerald Galluci's return to Kosovska Mitrovica, a Pristina daily writes. Albanian language daily Zeri stated that Larry Rossin had offered his resignation, which was turned down, because of his lack of agreement with the UN mission chief in Kosovska Mitrovica over the clashes of March 17. Daily: Rossin offered resignation The daily writes that UN mission chief Joachim Ruecker also stated that he would resign if Rossin left his position. Galluci’s return to his post in Kosovska Mitrovica was also met with protests from the town's Municipal President Bajram Rexhepi, who said that he would no longer be cooperating with the UN administration.
