Serbian Army CoS Lt. Gen. Zdravko Ponos and Ohio National Guard Commander Gen. Gregory Wayt met in Belgrade Monday. The two generals agreed that the one-year cooperation between the Serbian Army and the Ohio National Guard was "extremely useful for both sides", and that a high level of confidence was achieved. Ohio National Guard chief visits Belgrade Ponos and Wayt discussed the joint training of special units, as part of a military partnership program set up by Serbia and Ohio. Joint exercises will be held at Nis airport, on Thursday 20, September 2007, the Serbian Defense Ministry said. Generals Ponos and Wayt said they were confident that future cooperation would be more directed towards practical forms, such as the upcoming exercise, the statement said. Ohio National Guard chief visits Belgrade

Ponoš and Wayt discussed the joint training of special units, as part of a military partnership program set up by Serbia and Ohio.
