Greece reopens Macedonia name issue

The Slovenian STA agency reported that Janša and Karamanlis shared the opinion that the European perspective for the Western Balkans was the only solution for the region and pledged their commitment to "a policy of open doors in the enlargement process".

Janša expressed support for EU inclusion of all the countries situated in the territory between Slovenia and Greece, noting however that all the candidate-countries would have to meet the necessary requirements first.
