Dodik receives death threats

The author of the letter wrote of the intentions to blow up Dodik’s motorcade, threatening to slaughter Dodik’s entire family.

“We’ve already deployed our fighters in Banja Luka and equipped them with high-end arms designed for tank, aircraft and helicopter destruction. Our aim is to blow up your entire motorcade whenever you chose to leave Banja Luka. We’ve paid off your party colleague to inform us of your whereabouts”, the letter reads.

It also stated that Nova Bosnia planned to destroy trucks and busses with Serbian plates and blow up bridges over the Drina River.

The Government of the Republic of Srpska said it was not surprised by the threat, which was only the last in a series of intimidations following the ICJ judgment that absolves Serbia of the responsibility for the Srebrenica genocide.
