KRALJEVO Former Kraljevo Mayor Ljubisa Simovic and Ju KEops owner Milan Markovic have been remanded in custody for 30 days, B92 has learned. Simovic, Markovic and another 14 persons were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of misappropriation of funds intended for reconstruction of homes damaged in an earthquake in 2010. Former central town mayor remanded in custody The suspects are being questioned in Kraljevo’s Higher Court. Branko Djokovic was released pending trial after the questioning. The Higher Court did not give any more details and noted that all suspects would be questioned by the end of the day. It is believed that the suspects embezzled RSD 102mn. B92
