Truck kills three in central Serbia
Three people were killed and three were injured when a truck suddenly moved backwards, hit the victims and fell into a chasm near the central town of Kraljevo.

KRALJEVO Three people were killed and three were injured when a truck suddenly moved backwards, hit the victims and fell into a chasm near the central town of Kraljevo. B92 has learnt that the accident happened around 18:30 CET on Thursday, on a local road in the village of Bzovik. The truck slid backwards and hit the victims who were standing behind it. Radivoje D., Aleksandar B. and Dobrila K. were killed in the accident. Ankica S. suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Novi Pazar Hospital. Two men were lightly injured and they were discharged from the hospital. Truck driver Goran P. and his employer Vasa A. have been arrested and remanded in custody for 48 hours, said Kraljevo police Spokeswoman Kristina Nikolic. A Kraljevo Municipal Court investigative judge and a prosecutor came to the scene on Thursday evening. Details and the cause of the accident will be released after the investigation. (MUP) B92 RTS
