Interior Minister Ivica Dačić says three Serbian citizens are among 43 people suspected of establishing and managing offices of foreign NGOs in Egypt.

Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says three Serbian citizens are among 43 people suspected of establishing and managing offices of foreign NGOs in Egypt. "According to the information we have, the 43 persons suspected of establishing and managing offices of foreign NGOs without the permission of the Egyptian government include 3 Serbian citizens who worked at the National Democratic Institute," he told Tanjug. Three Serbian citizens among 43 suspects in Egypt “None of them is in custody, but they are all prohibited from leaving Egypt," he added. The Egypt court sources have announced that court proceedings will be taken against 44 people, among which 5 Serbs and 19 Americans, since, allegedly, they illegally financed NGOs at which they worked, and established branches of international organizations in Egypt without the government's permission. “None of them is in custody, but they are all prohibited from leaving Egypt," he added.

The Egypt court sources have announced that court proceedings will be taken against 44 people, among which 5 Serbs and 19 Americans, since, allegedly, they illegally financed NGOs at which they worked, and established branches of international organizations in Egypt without the government's permission.
