Head of Serb Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Seselj's defense team Zoran Krasic says that his right to a trial within a reasonable time has been violated. Krasic said that the Hague Tribunal's goal was to keep the SRS leader in custody as long as possible. Seselj's trial unreasonably long, lawyer claims “Practically, nothing has been done in the main proceeding against Seselj, who is accused of war crimes, since June 2010 because the court is only dealing with administrative and status questions of the accused,“ he pointed out. The defense team head stressed that Seselj's request to end the trial due to violation of the right to have the trial within a reasonable period of time was rejected in late September. Krasic rejected the Hague Tribunal's argument that there was no predefined deadline after which the trial would be considered unjust because of unnecessary delays. He stressed that the trial had not been postponed since February 10, 2010. Seselj is accused of crimes against humanity, violation of the law and customs of war in Croatia, Vojvodina and Bosnia-Herzegovina from 1991 until 1993. Vojislav Seselj
