A 40-year-old man from the town of Kursumlija last night shot and killed his ex-wife in a local bakery shop. The man was identified as Jugoslav Sejic, employed on a contract by the military. Man kills ex-wife with automatic rifle According to reports, he left his workplace at an army barracks and arrived to the bakery - where his former wife worked - wearing his uniform and carrying an automatic rifle. He used the weapon to shoot and kill the woman and then fired several bullets to his own chest, but survived. The Ministry of Defense said he was transfered to a hospital in the town of Nis this morning, after undergoing surgery in Prokuplje last night. The Sejics, who had two minor children, divorced over a year ago. According to their relatives, the victim on several occasions reported her ex-husband to police after he threatened to kill her.
