IM: Cigarette smugglers from Kosovo arrested "Four persons have been arrested, including three citizens of Serbia and one of Croatia,” stated Dacic after a press conference at which he awarded a Serbian passport to Red Star footballer Evandro Goebel, originally from Brazil. According to Dacic, this police operation was yet another proof that “crime knows no borders or administrative lines”. “Crime knows no borders and its only criteria is profit,” Dacic said, adding that "Albanians, Serbs and Croats all take part". Dacic also announced that MUP plans to introduce thermo-visual video surveillance of the border between Serbia and Croatia. "We must invest a lot in the development of border services to then, when we join the EU, abolish them. But let that be the price of our entry to the EU. However, since that will not happen any time soon, we must fulfill all the conditions, because that will be one of the most important membership negotiations issues," said Dacic.
