Police Director Milorad Veljovic told Beta news agency that a list of persons who were to spearhead riots in Belgrade was found. According to this, the list was found on the person of Mladen Obradovic, the arrested leader of the far-right organization Obraz. Police find list of riot organizers The rioting on Sunday was aimed against the gay pride parade in Belgrade. Veljovic described Obradovic as "one of the main organizers" of the Oct. 10 riots. According to him, the attacks on police were very organized, synchronized, and no accident. The police brought in 249 rioters on Oct. 10 and during the night, 54 of whom were underage. Of those arrested, 131 were detained. Veljovic pointed out that more than 60 percent of those arrested were not from Belgrade, but came to the Serbian capital to take part in the mob violence. "Today and in the next few days, the police, in cooperation with the prosecution, will continue to bring in everyone known to have taken part in the riots, and we will certainly persevere," the director of police stated. He went on to say that, according to the final numbers, 132 police officers had been injured in the riots, five of them seriously, as well as 25 private citizens, one of whom was gravely injured.
