Taton murder investigation continues

Two of the 13 suspects in the Brice Taton murder case are still on the run. They are suspected of aggravated murder and warrants are expected to be issued for their arrest. Taton murder investigation continues The two suspects did not attend today’s hearing before the Belgrade District Court investigative judge. An investigation has been launched against 12 suspects in the case. The District Court has requested all medical documentation on Taton and the results of his autopsy, and has asked police for video footage of the attack if it exists. All this will help establish how Taton died. In the meantime, police will be issuing warrants for the arrest of the two fugitives. “Since these people, who are covered in the investigation application, are suspected of aggravated murder, the judge will now order an investigation against these people and remand them in custody,” said court spokeswoman Ivana Ramic. The suspects could be looking at 10 to 40 years in prison if convicted. Ten suspects have been taken into custody on suspicion of involvement in Taton’s murder, while one has been accused of aiding and abetting the suspects after the attack and has been released from custody.
