Radovan Karadzic’s lawyer and his brother have taken over a laptop found near the Batajnica road on Aug. 11. The computer is now in the possession of lawyer Svetozar Vujacic, and Karadzic's brother Luka. "Karadzic laptop used after arrest" Computer expert Angelina Markovic, who examined the computer, told journalist today that it was determined it had been used twice from July 18 until August 11. She specified the dates to be July 19 and on August 1, and added that on August 1, the computer was used for ten hours. Markovic confirmed that the notebook belonged to Karadzic. Officially, Karadzic was arrested on July 21, while he, his lawyers and family members claim that he was detained on July 18. Karadzic, extradited to the Hague Tribunal on July 30, previously said that the recovery of his computer was vital for his defense.
