BELGRADE The Serbian government on Thursday adopted a decision to temporarily ban export of soy, sunflower and sugar beet. The government’s decision is aimed at preventing possible shortages and to enable a regular supply of these products to the domestic market. Govt. temporarily bans export of soy, sunflower The government also agreed that the Directorate of Commodity Reserves should exchange 9.1 million tons of mineral fertilizers for mercantile wheat and mercantile maize. This measure was adopted in order to stimulate agricultural production and mitigate consequences of serious droughts. VIP
