Telekom is Serbia's state-run telecommunications company.

Addressing a news conference held after a joint session of the Serbian Government and the Government of the Serb Republic (RS) today, Cvetković said that the price was "lower by 40 percent than what was asked for Serbia's 51 percent stake in Telekom".

“I can say that this is a good deal. The public felt that we were asking for too low a price, and yet, we managed to take an additional 40 percent off,” Cvetković said.
