The Serbian dinar (RSD) has lost 0.23 percent of its value against the euro (EUR) this Monday. The mean exchange rate of RSD 105.3492 for one euro is the new record low. Serbian currency loses ground On Friday, July 23, the central bank (NBS) did not intervene by selling hard currency in the inter-bank market. Since the start of this year, the bank sold a total of EUR 1.52bn in order to prop the domestic currency, that had the highest value against the euro in early January, when the exchange rate was RSD 95.9679.

On Friday, July 23, the central bank (NBS) did not intervene by selling hard currency in the inter-bank market.

Since the start of this year, the bank sold a total of EUR 1.52bn in order to prop the domestic currency, that had the highest value against the euro in early January, when the exchange rate was RSD 95.9679.
